Joshin Kowase: a Chronology

1963
Joshin Kowase was born in Tsurumi, Yokohama, Japan.
1986
Graduated from Joshibi University of Art and Design.
Won a prize for the best graduation work of the year.
1988
Completed the postgraduate course in fine art at Musashino Art University.
1990
Kowase's paintings were shown in the "Miniature Exhibition" at Dell Bello Gallery in Canada
1994
Opened her first solo exhibition at Kawakami Gallery.
1995
Her artworks were presented in the "Fantasy Exhibition" at Kawakami Gallery.
Joined JAA( Japan Artists Association, inc.).
1996
Her paintings were shown in the "Tree Buds Exhibition" at Kawakami Gallery and the "M3" exhibition at the Gallery ARK.
1997
Her paintings were shown in the "Miniature Exhibition" at Osaka Hankyu Department Store, and in the "Nante Exhibition" at the Gallery O-TWO.
Dedicated "Sakura Mandala" to Koumyouin Temple in Kouya-san.
Contributed "Madonna and Child" to Pokhara Convent in Nepal.
1999
Her paintings were displayed in the "DIE FUNF MALER Exhibition" at The Earth Museum and in the "3 LITTLE TALES Exhibition" at the Gallery Forest.
2000
Her paintings were presented in the "Thumbhole Prize Exhibition" at Okanoyama Museum of Art Nishiwaki in Hyogo Prefecture.
2000-
Opened a solo exhibition at the galleria grafica bis.
2011
Exhibited the series of "John's Revelation".
2012
Exhibited the series of "John's Revelation 2”.
2014
Exhibited the series of "Genesis". 
2015
Exhibited the series of “Genesis 2”.
2016
Opened a solo exhibition at the Gallery Fu.
May 2017
Exhibited the series of "Nature and the Bible" at the galleria grafica bis.
July 2017
Her paintings were shown in the "Small Works 2017" at the galleria grafica bis.
